Youth Work

"Because we believe in youth empowerment"

Programme Intro

Our Youth Work programmes empower young people across Southampton to connect, explore, and shape their future.

We support Young Carers through safe, inclusive spaces where they can express themselves and enjoy enrichment activities. Our Outreach team meets young people where they are, building trusted relationships and encouraging safe engagement within the community. Through weekly Youth Clubs, we offer welcoming spaces for socialising, learning, and supporting one another, while our Youth Engagement Events bring communities together through festivals and shared experiences.

We also champion youth voice through Young Researcher opportunities, enabling young people to gather insights on the issues that matter to them and drive positive change where they live.

benefits

Our Youth Work is grounded in real connection, positive relationships, and creating spaces where young people feel seen, heard, and supported.

Whether through clubs, outreach, or youth-led projects, everything we do is designed to help young people thrive — in themselves, their communities, and their future.

Safe Spaces
to Belong

Young people gain access to trusted, inclusive environments where they can socialise, express themselves, and feel part of a supportive community.

Meaningful Connection & Support

Whether through outreach, clubs, or events, young people are supported by relatable adults who build positive relationships, promote wellbeing, and help guide their next steps.

Stronger Voice & Confidence

Through youth-led research and engagement opportunities, young people build confidence, develop leadership skills, and influence positive change in their communities.
